ClearMind (“we,” “our,” or “the app”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use our iOS application.

We built ClearMind with privacy as a core principle. We understand that the nature of this app is deeply personal, and we designed it so that your recovery journey stays entirely in your control.

Information We Do NOT Collect

ClearMind does not collect, transmit, or store any of the following:

• Personal information (name, email, phone number, address)
• Account credentials (no account or sign-up is required)
• Location data
• Health or fitness data
• Browsing or search history
• Contacts or address book data
• Photos, videos, or media
• Device identifiers or advertising IDs
• Usage analytics or behavioral data
• Crash reports or diagnostics

Data Stored on Your Device

ClearMind stores the following data locally on your device to provide the app's core functionality:

• Check-in history: Your daily check-in responses including clean/relapse status, urge levels, mood selections, and journal entries.
• Streak and progress data: Your current day count, longest streak, check-in count, and fog line progress.
• App preferences: Your check-in reminder time, personal reason for quitting, and notification settings.

This data is stored exclusively on your device using iOS local storage. It is never transmitted to any server, cloud service, or third party. We have no ability to access, view, or retrieve this data.

If you delete the app, all locally stored data is permanently deleted.

Third-Party Services

ClearMind does not integrate any third-party analytics, advertising, tracking, or data collection services. There are no third-party SDKs that collect or process your data.

In-App Purchases

ClearMind offers in-app purchases processed entirely through Apple's App Store. Payment information is handled by Apple and is subject to Apple's Privacy Policy. We do not receive, process, or store any payment or financial information.

Notifications

If you enable check-in reminders, ClearMind uses iOS local notifications scheduled on your device. These notifications do not require or use any external push notification service. No data is transmitted to enable this feature.

Data Sharing

We do not share any data with third parties because we do not collect any data. There is nothing to share.

Children's Privacy

ClearMind does not knowingly collect any personal information from anyone, including children under the age of 13. Since no data is collected, no special provisions for children's data are necessary.

Data Retention and Deletion

All data is stored on your device only. You can delete all app data at any time by:

• Using the “Reset journey” option in the app's Settings screen, or
• Deleting the ClearMind app from your device.

Either action permanently and irreversibly deletes all data associated with the app.

Security

Because your data never leaves your device, it is protected by your device's built-in security features, including your passcode, Face ID, or Touch ID. We recommend keeping your device's security features enabled.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make changes, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this policy. We encourage you to review this Privacy Policy periodically.

Your Rights

Since ClearMind does not collect any personal data, there is no personal data for us to access, correct, delete, or port. You have full control over your data on your device at all times.
